Water umbrella
A large amount of water is coming out of the spray nozzle at high speed, forming a water umbrella. Water molecules are attracted to each other and hold on tightly.
This phenomenon is related to surface tension. The surface tension of water arises because water molecules (H2O) strongly attract each other. This attraction leads to the formation of hydrogen bonds (H-bonds) between water molecules. These "bonds" hold water molecules firmly together.
The surface tension of water is so strong that it can support certain insects and small objects that are heavier than water. Think of a paperclip that can float on water.
